Can I install or uninstall the application remotely?

Sorry, you can’t. The app must be manually installed and uninstalled on the target device, so please make sure you have physical access to the device.

During Registration, I get Unauthorized User Error.

Unauthorization error means you are entering the wrong email ID or Password while registering the client.

How can I change my registered email address?

Email address is highly secure and mostly unchangeable. So we do not allow changing the email address.
Many times customers do not have other alternatives than changing of email address, Only, in that case, we allow them to change their email addresses with the below steps.
(1) Release your current account with the TiSPY service. (need to send a release email request from registered email id).
(2) Uninstall TiSPY client from the device.
(3) Install TiSPY client again in the monitoring device
(4) Now create a new account from the client and this time use different email id during registration.
(5) Do payment to extend the subscription.

You have to terminate your current account first and then need to reinstall the TiSPY client in the device.

How can I change the device that is being monitored after I purchase this software?

Please Install the application on the newer phone which you want to monitor. Give the same email address and password while configuring the client.
– After that transfer subscription on your newer device to the TiSPY dashboard.

Follow the below steps to transfer the subscription.
(1) Login at the TiSPY dashboard.
(2) Click on “Transfer Subscription” from the menu.
(3) Select Devices for which you want to transfer subscription.
(4) Verify the subscriptions.

How to make application protected in Huawei P9 lite?

There is a setting in Huawei phones that allows you to add applications as protected and keep Your target phone accessibility enable.
(1) Security ==> Permission manager ==> App Permissions Manager” to manage permissions for any apps.
(2) Settings (Battery Manager > Protected Apps). This allows elected apps to keep running.

How to start using TiSPY service?

To monitor any device you need to install the TiSPY application on the phone which you want to monitor.

How to Uninstall TiSPY Client?

Follow the below steps on the device which you have installed TiSPY.

(1) Open application installed list in your target device.
(2) Settings >> Apps >> Uninstall “WiFi service”.

– When you uninstall WiFi service to target phone there application will Alert one message Insert Pin.
– That Pin is your Password when you first time registered with TiSPY.

Protect Android Spy Application from Uninstallation?

First of all why we need Uninstall Protection.
For additional protection against application tampering, you need to do some settings in your TiSPY dashboard.
The Uninstall Protection function includes various anti-tamper measures, and when not enabled it can be possible for a smart child to find ways to uninstall the app. We recommend to enable the function, as follows:

(a) Login into TiSPY Dashboard
(b) Navigate to SETTINGS in your TiSPY Dashboard.
(c) Scroll Down you can find there Uninstall Protection Enable it.

After Enable Uninstall Protection from the target phone, your child never uninstalls Application to his phone.
When your child wants to deactivate WiFi service to his phone there application will Alert one message Insert Pin in target device ==> Settings ==> Security ==> Device administrator.
That Pin is your Password when you first time registered with TiSPY.


How Can I do payment?

(1) Login in to your dashboard at https://tispy.net
(2) Select the device tab for which you want to renew the subscription.
(3) Under ‘USER DETAILS’ you can find ‘Renew’ link or select the ‘Subscription’ tab to Activate your account.
(4) Select one of the listed subscription plans i.e. It would open the Payment Gateway site, from where you can make payment.

How can I renew TiSPY subscription without having Paypal Account, Directly using my Debit/Credit Card?

You can renew the TISPY subscription even if you don’t hold a Paypal account. In that case, You should have an international credit card or debit card.
For that follow below steps:
(1) Click here https://tispy.net/TiSPY/buynow.js
(2) Select payment days which you want to pay and click on Buy[PayPal] option.
(3) Now you can see in the PayPal payment page below Sign Up or pay with the Debit/Credit card button.

Select Sign Up or Pay with Debit/Credit Card option to here Now you can redirect the page on payment fill details fulfill information with your credentials and complete your payment.

I am facing issue in payment via paypal

Other then Paypal we have 1 more payment gateways.
(1) Using Visa/Master Card(Credit Card).

What payment methods do you accept?

We support two payment gateways.

Both are international payment gateways and accept all major cards. If you failed with one payment gateway try to make payment with another payment gateway.

Why I am not getting Credit/Debit card option in my payment page?

If you don’t have a PayPal account for a buy subscription hence you can pay with a credit card or debit card.
For that follow below steps:

(3) Now you can see in the PayPal payment page fill all details.


Can you find my missing or stolen Cellphone?

If you had installed the TiSPY application in your stolen phone and subscribed for the TiSPY service, than we can help you to find your missing or stolen phone.

Do I have to download on the phone I need to spy on or can I download it on my phone and spy from phone I want to spy on?

Yes, you need to install the TiSPY application on the phone which you want to monitor.

Prevent Android spy Application Uninstallation from Google Play Protect?

Recently Google Play services release new updates. In that, google enabled security checks regarding verify apps.
In that case, you need to disable Google App Verifier from your device and install the TiSPY client application again into your device and register it with your existing credentials.

(1) Open “Play Store application on Your Phone”
(2) Tap Menu
(3) Play Protect
(4) Disable “Scan device for security threats”

After complete, the above settings Install the TiSPY application again into your target device and register with your existing credentials.

What happens if I do not renew subscriptions?

If the customer not renewing subscription, all his existing data will be removed from the system and the TiSPY monitoring app will stop collecting data from the target Phone.
You can also uninstall the app manually from the target device.

Why my device not update data since 24 hours?

In this case, there can only be 2 possibilities either No Internet Connectivity or No Software In Phone (Factory Reset).
Please verify proper internet connection & software installation in phone Instead, users are using different devices which becomes the reason for no updates in your panel.

Will there be a TiSPY icon on the target Phone?

No, On Android Phones, there will be a temporary icon during installation which will be automatically deleted after the setup process is complete.
After successfully install and register applications on the phone it will be hidden in your target device.

Call Track FAQ

Can I backup my call logs?

Yes, you can backup all call logs by call log tracking software, TiSPY. Just install the software on your device and you will never lose the call log data.

How can I track a call?

You can track a call by using a call tracking software like TiSPY. It allows you to record calls, access the call history, details of the caller, and time stamp of the calls.

How does call tracking works?

The call tracking software when installed in the kid’s phone takes all the information from that device and brings it to the parent’s dashboard that is provided by the call tracking software like TiSPY. TiSpy provides reliable and accurate information and is convenient in use for parents.

Is it possible to get someone’s call history?

Yes, it is possible to get someone’s call history. The phone call tracking software like TiSpy, when installed brings the call history information and details of the caller to your dashboard.


How do I take a live screenshot using TiSPY?

To take a live screenshot, go to the “Live panel” tab on your TiSPY web account and then click on the “Screen” tab. It will take a screenshot of your target cellphone and upload it to your TiSPY Dashboard.

I don’t get screen capture option in Live Panel?

TiSPY’s live screen capture feature works only if the target Android cell phone is connected with the internet (Wi-Fi or data plan).

If you do not find the “Screen-Pro” option under the “Live Panel” section, It is because you had not given screen capture permissions during installations of the application.
To get this option on your panel, follow the below steps when you get the target phone in your hands.

(1) To get this option Login in to your TiSPY Dashboard ==> Remote Control ==> Enable screen that will prompt one menu.
(2) Activate that with start capturing your target phone activity.

– Now, You can access your Child phone monitoring screen also you can capture content, User id, Password of monitor phone. so you can easily grab the kind of screen you want.

Remotely take a screen short of any target device using TiSPY?

Send command to your control panel and you will able to see what your kids up to on their cell phones. You can also view the live screen of your target cell phones to the Live pro features.

Scheduler audio/photo feature not working correctly?

(1) Try to schedule 4-5 hours advance.
(2) Change ‘sync interval’ in settings to 7200.
(3) Do not set audio capture longer than 15 minutes.
(4) Make sure schedulers are not overlapping. Otherwise, it may fail to capture.
(5) Keep scheduler duration small (not more than 1000 seconds), to keep your generated file size small.

What is the difference between screen pro 1 and screen pro 2 in live panel?

About Pro2 features, In some devices we observe that Pro feature doesn’t work some time especially when the device ideal for a long time. So we have added one more option (Pro2), which uses a slightly different technique in the background to support those kinds of devices. Long story short if the device connected to the internet and still “Pro1” features are not working then try “Pro2”.

Why am I receiving error in instant audio/photo or location?

(1) Instant audio/photo needs internet connectivity on the phone.
(2) Change ‘sync interval’ in settings to 7200. Try to access the feature from a different browser.
(3) Use “Scheduler” or “SMS Command” which will give more reliable results.

Why does live audio stop streaming after 10-15 seconds?

You might face this issue because you have not disabled battery optimize for our application during application installation in the target device.
To disable battery optimize on target phone, open settings => Battery => Battery optimisation => Disable for “WiFi Service”

Does my service stop, if I change SIM card?

No, System will send you SIM Change notification over email. You may or may not able to get phone number of newer SIM. Using the “Call Back” feature in “Remote Control”, you can receive a call from a newer SIM Card.

How Can I download my data?

From the ‘Data Liberation’ page, you can download the data in HTML formatted files.

How many devices can I monitor into my account?

You can monitor many phones under the same email address. But you need to renew the subscription for each of them separately.

How to block/Unblock application?

Open the ‘Packages Installed’ page. Traverse the list until the application you want to block/unblock. Click on the link against the application you want to block/unblock.

How to Make default keyboard Steps?

We have seen that even if customer installed keyboard application properly, they miss making new keyboard as default keyboard.
Until you make the new keyboard as the default keyboard, your keyboard words will not be captured. You need to follow the below steps to activate a new keyboard.
– Goto phone settings ==> Language & inputs ==> Change default keyboard
– Enable “Teclado Android(B.E) or Android Keyboard (AOSP)”
– Click on Switch input methods
– Select “Teclado B.E” or “Android Keyboard (AOSP)” from the list
– Click on Finish

How to prevent Android Spy Application from uninstallation?

1. Why we need a system app? Or How System App feature helps?
Do you need to know if your child factory resets his phone then TiSPY keeps running on Target’s phone?
This feature works only on the Rooted phone.
Converting App to System App
(1) Give Root permissions. Find more details here
(2) Login into TiSPY dashboard
(3) Go to Remote Control==>Make system app
(4) It will restart the phone once.
(5) After creating a system App, TiSPY App will Appear to Disable you can not Uninstall that.

Now, If Target’s phone is, unfortunately, Factory reset then also TiSPY will keep running.
Even Your child installed Anti-virus or any other Spy App then it never detects to TiSPY.

Convert System App to Normal App
(1) Login into TiSPY dashboard
(2) Go to Remote Control==>Make normal app
(3) After creating Normal App TiSPY will Appear target device setting==>Application Manager.

2. How to uninstall our application once it is a system app?
If your app is a system app you’ll only be able to disable apps that came preinstalled, not completely remove them. Disabling an app will prevent it from running and remove it from your Apps list.
To Uninstall system application you should enable root permission in your target device
Otherwise, you can also give a grant root to your target device from the TiSPY dashboard.
(1) Open your Target device’s Settings app Settings.
(2) Tap Apps or Application manager.
(3) Tap the app you want to uninstall. You may need to scroll to find the app.
(4) Tap Uninstall.

How to Reinstall/ Upgrade/ Update TiSPY Client?

First Uninstall TiSPY client to the target device and then install again with the same email id and password.

How to set Geo fence?

Geofence is used to get notifications when the phone moves in/out Geo Place.
Below are steps to the Set Geo fence.
(1) Login in TiSPY Dashboard Panel.
(2) Go to Geo fence From the sidebar menu.
(3) Click on the “Create New” button for setting a new geo fence for your device.
(4) Now you get one map and circle on your device last location. Move center point to your any other place where you want to set fence.
(5) Enter the place name below the map box and save it.
(6) You can see your set Geo-fence list in table. if you want to update (change) your exiting geo-fence then click on “View Map”.

Note: Geo-Fence works fine if your device frequently connects with GPS and very accurate about 50 meters.

I would like to monitor is an android phone, do I need to root it first?

No, you don’t need to root the target Phone. We have designed the application so that most of the features works fine without rooting the phone.

If we do not give parental control then still which features working?

Parent Control helps us to access system-level features like Protection against Uninstallation, Wipe Phone, Wipe Phone with Memory.

Location not coming or has stopped coming recently

Location updates require Location Services(GPS) to be enabled on the phone. If it is disabled, location updates will not come because of restrictions enforced by the Android ecosystem.

What to do if I forgot my password? How can I change my password?

Access https://tispy.net/TiSPY/forgotpassword.jsp to retrieve a new password. A newly generated password will be sent to your registered email address.

Which features work with my Non-Rooted device?

On non-rooted version you can have these features:

Why I don’t find “Factory Reset” options in TiSPY dashboard “Remote Control” page?

Factory Reset options are only available if you had enabled Parental control to the target device during installation.
If you want to get Factory reset option into your TiSPY Dashboard –> Remote Control page then follow below procedure:
(1) Login in to your TiSPY Dashboard –> Remote Control –> Enable Parental Control.
After Enabled Parental control to the TiSPY Dashboard Take phone in your hand you will get one notification to Activate this device administrator.
(2) Go to target device Settings –> Security –> Device Administrator –> WiFi Service
Enable it.
Please wait for some time. After enabling this “Parental control” Or ” WiFi Service” On target phone, You will find that “Factory Reset” option into the TiSPY dashboard Remote Control Page.

Child’s iOS device is not being detected over USB?
  • Make sure device is turned on and unlocked.
  • If you see a “Trust this Computer?” message, then tap on “Trust” button.

  • If still issue persist. Unplug USB and plug it again in device. and then click “Trust” if it ask in device.
  • Try a different Apple USB cable.
  • Unplug all USB accessories from your computer except iPhone device. Try each USB port to see if one works.
  • Unplug your child’s device, and open their Settings app. Navigate to Touch ID and Passcode, Face ID and Passcode, or simply Passcode > Allow Access When Locked > enable USB Accessories. If your child does not use a lockscreen passcode, you can skip this step.


  • Restart your computer.
  • Restart your child’s iPhone, iPad or iPod touch.
  • Check that you have the latest software on your Mac or Windows PC. If you’re using iTunes, make sure you have the latest version.
  • If still no luck, check out our additional troubleshooting solutions for Mac and Windows below.
Child’s iOS device is not being detected over Wi-Fi?
  • From your Home screen, go to Settings > Wi-Fi.


  • Select Turn on Wi-Fi. The device will automatically search for available Wi-Fi networks.
  • Tap the name of the Wi-Fi network that your computer is also connected to.
  • You will now see a Wi-Fi icon at the top of your iPhone or iPad screen (number of bars may vary).
  • Double-check that your computer is also connected to the same network as the child’s iOS device.

If still not detected then follow next steps.

  • Enable “Sync over Wi-Fi”. Open iTunes > Plug in your child’s iOS device and select it using phone icon on the top left > Scroll down to Options > Select “Sync with this iPhone over Wi-Fi” or “Show this iPhone when on Wi-Fi” > Click on “Apply”

  • Enable USB Accessories setting for iOS 10+. Tap on the Settings app on your device. Then, navigate to Touch ID and Passcode, Face ID and Passcode, or simply Passcode > Allow Access When Locked > toggle on USB Accessories.


  • Turn off Wi-Fi Assist. Go to Settings > Cellular or Mobile Data. Scroll down and tap the slider for Wi-Fi Assist to turn off.

  • Turn off a third-party VPN. Go to Settings > General > VPN (or “VPN and Device Management”). Tap VPN if applicable. Tap on Delete Profile for the third-party VPN. Verify that the apps of the third-party VPNs are also uninstalled. Reboot your iOS device.


  • Turn off a Mobile Device Management or Configuration Profile. Go to Settings > General > Profiles & Device Management (or “VPN and Device Management”). If there is one present, select Remove or Delete Profile. Verify that the apps of the third-party device management profiles are also uninstalled. Reboot your iOS device.


How to disable Encrypt local backup?
  • On your PC, open iTunes. If you don’t have it on your PC, download iTunes.
  • Connect your device to your computer with a USB cable.
  • If asked for your device passcode or to “Trust This Computer?”, follow the onscreen steps.
  • Select your device in iTunes.
  • Click Summary.

  • Unchek the “Encrypt local backup” checkbox and enter the password.


How do I keep iOS monitoring up to date?
  • Ensure your child’s iPhone is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as the computer whenever they are home.
  • If your computer is a laptop, make sure you open it and it’s turned on at some point during the day while your child is home and connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
  • Have your computer powered on and awake for hours at a time, so that it has the opportunity to run the backups over Wi-Fi when your child is home and connected to the same network.

      Sleep/Wake Settings for Mac

  • On your Mac, choose Apple menu > System Preferences, then click Battery.
  • Under both Battery or Power Adapter adjust the slider under “Turn display off after…” to 3 hours or Never.
  • Under both Battery and Power Adapter settings, remove the checkmark ⬜ next to Put hard disks to sleep when possible.
  • Under both Battery and Power Adapter settings, add a checkmark ☑️ next to Prevent computer from sleeping automatically when the display is off.
  • Under both Battery and Power Adapter settings, add a checkmark ☑️ next to Wake for network access.

     Sleep/Wake Settings for Windows 

  • To adjust power and sleep settings in Windows 10, go to Start, and select Settings > System > Power & sleep. Under Sleep, Set the drop-down menu for both options shown below to be 5 hours or Never.

Alwayas fail to take backup of child’s iPhone device?
  • Open “TiSPY iOS Monitoring Tool” Application.
  • Click on “Settings” icon for that device.
  • Click on “Clear Cache” option menu.
What does TiSPY monitor on iOS devices?
  • On iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch, TiSPY can monitor texts, iMessages, photos, videos, notes, voice memos, Whatsapp messages, Kik messages, and detect the apps installed. If you’d like to see a detailed list of everything that iOS app can monitor, click here.
Why is this related to iCloud backups?
  • Because of Apple’s security over their iCloud system, we do not monitor your child’s iOS device from iCloud backups. Instead, we monitor iPhones, iPads, and iPods with the help of the Desktop App that you will be installing on a Windows or Mac computer.
Is my child’s iOS device compatible?
  • TiSPY is able to reliably monitor iOS devices with Apple’s iOS 11 or later.

     Check your device version by following steps.

  1. Tap on their Settings app ⚙ > General > Software Update.
  2. If the version is 11 or later, then app can monitor your child’s device!
  3. If it’s older than version 11, then we may still be able to monitor the device, but we won’t know for sure until you give it a try.
Will I have to plug in my child’s device to my home computer every time?
  • No, After the first-time setup, if your child’s device is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as the computer, your child’s device will be analyzed wirelessly and automatically.
What if my computer is connected via ethernet cable to the router, will it still be able to do wireless analyses of my child’s device?
  • Yes, as long as they are sharing the same internet network, the wireless analyses of your child’s device can still take place.
What if I have a Chromebook or Linux computer, will that support the Desktop App?
  • Because Chromebook and Linux are different operating systems from Windows and Mac, the Desktop App is unable to be installed on those computers at this time.
How to connect Child’s iPhone over USB?
  • Install iPhone Backup Extractor software into your computer(Windos & Mac OS).
  • Turn on iPhone and connect it to apple USB cable.
  • Connect other end of USB cable to your computer.
  • Device will show popup for ask you to Trust this Computer?
  • Click on “Trust” button and your device will be connected to your computer.
How to configure iPhone device to monitor?
  • Install iPhone Backup Extractor software into your computer(Windos & Mac OS).
  • Login into your account using email & password. Create your accont on tispy.net first if you have not created.
  • Connect your iPhone device to your computer via USB cable.
  • Device will show popup for ask you to Trust this Computer?
  • Click on “Trust” button and your device will be connected to your computer.
  • Click on “+ Add” button. It will search for connected devices and show you.
  • Select device which you want to monitor.
  • Now, it will add into your acoount and take backup from it.
  • Wait until all backup process finished and display backup successful message.

Can I monitor multiple computers with one license or subscription?

No. In order to monitor multiple computers that you own, you will need to buy separate licenses for separate computers.
For example, for you to monitor three computers, you will need to purchase three licenses. Also, you can uninstall TiSPY from one computer and then install it on another computer using the same license.

Can I transfer (re-install) the software to another computer?

How can I uninstall TiSPY from my computer?

You can uninstall application in 2 ways.
Press Ctrl + Shift + B that will popup one menu you can uninstall from over there.
Download .msi file from our site and open it, you will find an uninstall option. Follow onscreen instructions.

How do I retrieve a lost password?

How long are my logs saved?

All logs are subject to deletion after thirty (90) days. It is your responsibility to download/save any logs you wish to keep onto your own personal computer.
The computer is not uploading data since I renewed subscription.
This is a limitation on the computer app. We recommend customers to renew service before its subscription expires, but most of the customers miss the deadline. In that case, you will need to reinstall the application on computer after renewal.

My Device not seem to be updating anymore, how do I fix this?

First, you should ensure that the software is still running on the remote PC.
(1)If the device is hard reset (factory reset).
(2)If device firmware is upgraded.
(3)If the device is not connected with the internet.
(4)If application is removed from the device.
(5)If you have renewed after subscription trial completes, you will need to re-install the application to make it work.

TiSPY is a monitoring software for computers and an android device that helps parents keep children safe.

I registered my phone but it isn’t showing up in my account. What should I do?

More than likely you typed in the wrong email address. Lots of people accidentally type in things like hotnail.com, gmail.con, or yahoo.com.
Contact customer support and let them know the phones aren’t showing up on your account. Be sure to provide them with the phone IMEI number of the missing device.

Not able to login into TiSPY portal, get verification error.

This error means your email address is not verified. Check the verification email into your Inbox/Junk folder that received from the TiSPY service.
Click on the verification link to verify your account. If the verification link is not clickable, then login into the TiSPY portal at https://tispy.net and when it asks for verification enter the verification code that received in the mail. If you have not received verification email, you can resend the email from login at https://tispy.net.

What to do if I forgot my password? How can I change my password?

Access https://tispy.net/TiSPY/forgotpassword.jsp to retrieve a new password.
A newly generated password will be sent to your registered email address.

TISPY Call log feature gives you date & time stamps for all incoming & outgoing calls with their time duration to know how long your child contacted on each call.

Do you want to be able to find location the target Phone even if phone is not connected to internet?

All this happens when your target phone do not have internet connection.

If you send SMS Command (I.e, x9f9p9 LC 1) to retrieve location over SMS,  Location link will be sent back on the same number from where you had sent command even your target phone never connected to the internet SMS command will help you to find location of target phone.

How can I change my SMS Command?

How to use SMS command alias feature?

For example, if you have defined Alias for SMS Command as below,
Command : x9f9p9 AC 10
Alias 1 : Good Morning
Alias 2 : Good Afternoon

Once you configure this way at the TiSPY dashboard panel, “Good Morning son” becomes an alternative of your SMS Command”x9f9p9 AC 10″. So if you send Text message “Good Morning” to target phone, it will capture audio for 10 seconds and upload it at TISPY dashboard, scheduler page.

Where can I see the result of SMS Command?

The results of SMS Command will available on the scheduler page. The device will upload the results only when it connects to the internet.

Can you help me track the phone by its number? Is it possible to find the lost device?

No, Without installed TiSPY APK on the device we can not help you to find the location of that device.

How could arise call recording issue?

– You might have another call recorder on the phone. Please note, technically 2 call recorders cannot work at the same time in an Android ecosystem. If you have one installed, you are requested to get it removed otherwise our application will have problems recording phone calls.
– Target device might have poor internet connectivity due to which application is not able to upload all call recordings in time.
– If there are battery/power savers or security apps with similar functionality (e.g., CM Security, Clean Master, etc.) installed, they will prevent our application along with other background applications periodically & prevent recordings and other data be uploaded in time.

Step 2: Check Requirements
For the call recording feature to work, you need to check the requirements and compatibility of your phone. Currently, this feature is supported on all Android phones. You can check your phone’s compatibility here. TiSPY works on most Android phones and versions, but you can still run a query to be sure.
We have received a few rather agitated complains from users that talk about their recordings turning up one-sided. This is the issue with a lot of Android devices and comes with the firmware settings. The built-in settings cause the mic to be disabled when a call is received, causing the recording to turn up one-sided. Every phone has a custom firmware setting, thus, unfortunately, I cannot provide a general solution to this problem.

Step 3: Check Control Panel
Once you’ve installed TiSPY, go to the control panel. You’ll arrive at the dashboard.
This will give you a summary of all the incoming and outgoing calls as well as text messages. This will also provide you with the phone call related stats based on previous data before you start spying with the mobile phone monitor in real-time.

How to solve call recording issue?

There are too many phones available in the market. Their firmware also varies. To make call tapping work for most of them, our technical team continuously keep improving the app.
You can change the settings from TiSPY dashboard settings. After you change one setting, keep it for at least 2-4 hours and check newer recordings. Below is the best-adopted setting.
